How does your service work?

You can book online on our website, by email or over the phone.

On arrival:

  • On arrival at Faro International Airport and when leaving the Luggage Reclaim area, follow the instructions stated at your voucher: at the arrivals hall, look for our company board or/and a sign with your name on it.
  • Your driver will help you gather and move your luggage items in a tow and will lead you to your assigned vehicle driving you from Faro airport straight to your destination as soon as you are ready.

On Departure:

  • Your driver will be on time to pick you up from your resort/hotel reception or from your accommodation and will drive you, as soon as you are ready, straight to Faro airport.

How to make a reservation with Faro Airport Transfers?

STEP 1:

  • Enter the reservations page and fill in our online booking tool with the details of your transfer.
  • You may book a single journey, either from the airport to your accommodation or from your accommodation to the airport or a return transfer (two way).
  • The "total number of passengers" includes children and infants. Safety baby seats or booster cushions are automatically included in your booking.
  • The total price for the service shows up automatically.
  • Click on "BOOK NOW" button for the next step.

STEP 2:

  • If one of your pick up points is at Faro airport, you will be asked to fill your arrival flight number.
  • Fill in your accommodation details:
    • For Hotels or Resorts enter the name;
    • For private apartments/villas enter the complete address;
    • Or a short description of the exact location where our driver should pick you up or drop you off.
  • Fill in your personal details and contacts.
  • Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions and if you have any special requirements such as extra luggage.
  • Click on "SUBMIT BOOKING" button to go to the final payment stage.

STEP 3:

  • Verify all the details of your transfer, as well as your personal details and contacts.
  • Choose the type of payment.
  • A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the address given in the reservation form.
  • Please note your BOOKING ID, this is the token to manage your booking.

How do I get a quote?

Our online booking tool gives you a fare quote when you enter your pick up and drop off details and the number of passengers.

The price is all inclusive, the are no hidden fees.

What is included in the transfer service price?

After filling in all necessary fields the total price will be automatically presented.

A one-way price will include a single journey, either from the airport to your accommodation or from your accommodation to the airport.

A return transfer (Two-way) includes both the arrival and departure transfer, from the airport to accommodation upon arrival and from your accommodation to the airport on departure.

The price presented is in Euros and includes:

  • All tax.
  • Your luggage and personal items (see Luggage Policy).
  • Safety car seats, baby seats or booster cushions, when applicable.
  • Highway toll fees when applicable.
  • No restrictions on using the highway A22 (on Premium services).
  • Airport Meet and Greet Service (on Premium services).
  • Chilled bottled water for the journey (on Premium services).
  • Pick up time confirmation by SMS (on Premium services).

The price shown for groups ranging from 1 to 4, 5 to 8, 9 to 16 passengers it's the total price for your group.

For groups over 17 passengers, please fill all the necessary fields on the booking tool and submit your request, we will contact you with a price quotation and will discuss your needs to refine your requirements.

We will help optimise your request to save you money, time and ensure you get the most appropriate services.

If you decide to go ahead with the booking, we will prepare and send you your voucher.

Can I book a one-way or departure transfer only?

Yes, you can book a single journey either from the airport to your accommodation or from your accommodation to the airport.

If I need a return transfer ( Two-Way )?

Check the "Return" box and fill the return details:

  • Return Date (Date B)
  • Pick up Time (Time B)

I'm travelling with children. Do you provide safety car seats?

Yes, we provide safety baby seats and booster cushions free of charge.

It's automatically included in your booking when you select the number of children or infants in your group.

How to add child seats to my booking?

Safety car seats such as baby seats or booster cushions are automatically included in your booking when you select the number of children or infants in your group.

We do not charge for safety car seats!

When entering the number of passengers on the booking form, there are three options:

Adults 10+ years old - For people aged 10 years and older.

Children <9 years old – For children aged between 3 and 9 years old.

  • A booster cushion is automatically included in the booking.

Infants <3 years old - For Infants aged 3 years and under.

  • A baby seat is automatically included in the booking.

What are your restrictions on luggage?

Our luggage policy closely follows the airlines policy. It's included in the price, for each passenger, one checked luggage piece ( such as standard suitcase or golf bag ) and two carry-on items( such as purses, laptop cases, briefcases, small suitcases, and backpacks ).

If you have excess luggage or if you'll be carrying a surfboard, pet crate, bike bag or other large items, please describe all items in the comments field. Extra fees may be applied depending on the vehicle luggage capacity.

My departure location or destination it's not in the option list.

We have made a list of the major travel destinations in the Algarve region. If your pick up or drop off location is not on our options list, you should select the closest location.

You may check the locations list provided by Faro Airport Transfers separator and choose the location closest to yours in the options list.

I’m not sure about my departure or destination location.

You may request a quote by email. To do so please click on the "Contact Us" link and send us a detailed description of the service required.

My departure or destination is not in the Algarve region.

We provide transfer services for other destinations outside the Algarve region such as Spain, Lisbon, Alentejo, Fatima, Oporto, Evora etc... Please see the option list.

For other destinations or any doubts, please do not hesitate in contacting us.

How far in advance should I book my ride?

We suggest you reserve your ride at least 24 hours in advance.

Shorter advance notice may limit our availability to meet your needs, and bookings less than four (4) hours in advance of pick up time are non-refundable once booked.

How to pay, modify or cancel a reservation?


How to cancel or modify a reservation?

We understand your travel plans may change, so we offer a simple cancellation policy.

For online bookings enter the booking token (Booking ID) on the top of our website or use the QR code to view, modify or cancel your booking.

In emergency cases, use the telephone number stated on your confirmation email.

We don't charge a cancellation or change fee. For a full refund, cancellation or amendment must be made 4 hours prior to the requested service.

Do you charge a cancellation fee?

No, we don’t!

Regardless of whether you made your reservation online, email, or by phone, give us four (4) hours’ notice prior to your pickup time, and we will give you a full refund of the amount credited to our account, i.e. the amount paid minus the bank charges for the transaction.

Faro Airport Transfers® is unable to refund payment if cancelled with less than four hours’ notice prior to pick up time or in the event of a no-show. Credit card refunds are submitted to the bank within one (1) business day.

Why do I need to prepay when I make my booking?

We recognize the majority of our customers prefer to pay for travel expenses by credit card.

Prepaid bookings transfers from the airport are designed to save customers time and energy. Once you arrive at your destination, simply sign for the ride instead of waiting for change or credit card approval.

After a long trip, it’s one less thing to worry about, which is why prepayment has become the norm for the travel industry.

Also, prepayment allows us to boost efficiency of our service and to reduce the number of no shows.

How to find Faro Airport Transfers® vehicle?

On arrival at Faro International Airport and when leaving the Luggage Reclaim area, follow the instructions stated at your voucher: at the arrivals hall, look for our company board or/and a sign with your name on it.

When you are being picked up from a resort, supply us with the exact location and the exact time you want to be collected so that our driver may find you on time.

All drivers and vehicles are identified with our company logo.

If my arrival flight is delayed?

If one of your pick up points is at Faro airport, please enter your arrival flight number, so we can check your flight to know the exact arrival time.

We monitor the arrival flights and we do not dispatch a driver until we have a confirmed landing / arrival time as we check your flight number with the airport to ensure that it is running to schedule.

Is your price per person or per vehicle?

Prices for all our services are quoted per vehicle and not per person.

How long is my trip?

Our online booking tool gives an estimated trip time and distance when you enter your pick up and drop off details.

Use this information to calculate the time you should request the service when returning to Faro airport, regarding your flight.

What is "Meet and Greet" service?

Meet and Greet is a feature of our Premium transfer services. The main difference in this service it's that when your plane lands, your vehicle's operator will be waiting in the airport arrivals hall after the baggage claim.

He or she will be dressed in uniform and holding a sign with either the official Faro Airport Transfers® logo or, most likely, your name.

Once you meet your driver, he or she will help you gather your luggage in a tow and lead you until your car at the curbside or at the parking lot.

Should I tip the driver?

This is entirely at your discretion.

If you are happy with the service you received, even a small tip will be much appreciated by your driver.

I need to collect keys from an office before going to my accommodation.

If you are staying in a holiday villa or apartment and you need to pick up keys on the way at the rental office/booking agency before heading to your accommodation, your driver will be available to provide this service free of charge.

There is no extra charge when the stop point is en route and for a short period of time: no more than 10 minutes.

Is it allowed to smoke in your vehicles?

No, we have a Smoke-Free Policy in our vehicles, drivers and customers can not smoke inside.

Smoking is not allowed in any of our vehicles.
